Greg Secker is a renowned entrepreneur, public speaker, and philanthropist. He owns several establishments including Learn to Trade, Capital Index, and SmartCharts Software. He holds an undergraduate degree in Agricultural and Food Sciences from the University of Nottingham.
Mr Secker’s profession has been a fruitful one, and he was a millionaire in his twenties. Greg first job was at Thomas Cook Financial Service. He then transferred to a new business dubbed Virtual Trading Desk which was the first online real-time trading platform. Greg’s career advanced at a fast rate, and within no time he was the Vice President at Mellon Financial Corporation, one of the top 500 Fortune companies of the time.
During his time at Mellon, he learnt a lot of trading strategies, and he decided to leave the corporation and start to Learn to Trade which was first located at his house. Learn to Trade has evolved to be a successful venture and received numerous international awards. Greg Secker is passionate about training other young innovators to be successful like him and has written some books including The Book of Success: Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Success, Financial Freedom Through Forex, and Trading Your Way to Success.
Greg first became a public speaker in 2003 after he founded Learn to Trade. Since its founding, approximately 200,000 individuals have attended the various trading workshops held across the universe. In the seminar, Greg offers invaluable expertise on trading secrets to help others attain financial freedom. Mr, Secker is an international speaker and has appeared on large media outlets like CNBC and Bloomberg.
Greg launched the Greg Secker Foundation in 2010. The foundation aims to positively transform the lives of communities around the globe by collaborating with youth programs to enhance education, leadership, and life skills. The Foundation has multiple programs through which it is transforming lives. Additionally, Greg has worked with Sir Richard Branson and Virgin Unite, and together they have built a new crèche in a village in South Africa. He also recently visited the Philippines to help reconstruct houses for individuals affected by typhoons and cyclones.
Recently, Mr Secker was named an affiliate of the Board of Ambassadors for City Philanthropy and also included as one of the 200 Most Influential Philanthropists and Social Entrepreneurs in 2017. Greg supports many charitable ventures including Ubuntu Educational Fund, Starkey Hearing Foundation, Virgin Unite, and the Child Bereavement Trust.
