Greg Secker – An Innovator and Entrepreneur

Greg Secker took Learn To Trade from a small company in 2003 to the world’s leading Forex trading education platform. As its founder and Chief Executive Officer, Greg made Learn To Trade different from competitors due to its trainer environment which included a simulated trading room, where students learned in a hands-on environment how to trade in an authentic trading environment. In just three short years, Learn to Trade opened offices in Johannesburg, Capetown, London and Sydney. The company was acknowledged by the London Excellence Awards, the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 Award and was voted the best FX educator.

Greg got his career start as an IT trading technologist for Thomas Cook Financial Services on its trading floor in currency. The traders and their monetary results peaked his interest to the point that he learned everything he could about Forex trading technology. His keen skills soon, rendered him an innovator who created the Virtual Trading Desk, a user-friendly trading platform that integrated the Forex trading strategies from the Thomas Cook trading floor.

Greg is a successful English philanthropist with a list of accomplishments, like his nomination in 2017 by Richtopia; his nomination as one of the top 200 Most Influential Philanthropist and Social Entrepreneurs; the award as the recipient of the 2017 National CSR Awards and his recent achievement in the launch of SmartCharts, Capital Index and FX Capital. Greg is consistently viewed on TV and in popular magazines.
