The weight loss company known as Nutrimost has decided to bring a lawsuit against its rival Healthy Living. The lawsuit is essentially about the latter company ripping off content from their promotional video.
According to the lawsuit by the Manhattan Federal Court, Healthy Living posted the video on their own website and copied the whole video, but replaced every reference to Nutrimost in the video. The title of the video was called “Can’t Lose Diet,” and the video even kept all the testimonials and statements from customers of Nutrimost on the page.

As of now, the video has been removed from Healthy Living’s website but Nutrimost still wants to have a court order in place that will prevent Healthy Living from reposting the video again. In addition, the company also wants $300,000 for the theft and damage to their reputation. However, Healthy Living did originally keep the video on their page despite receiving a cease-and-desist letter this past September, to which they responded by uploading a shorter version of the video instead.
