Jennings Named Top CF Prospect
November 17th, 2009 | by Jason Collette |Admittedly, this was the easiest choice since the Nationals taking Stephen Strasburg with the top choice in the last draft, but it is still nice to see. It is somewhat crazy that Dustin Ackley debuts as #2 on that list; it highlights just how thin baseball is on center-field prospects. If you have not yet had a chance to see Jennings play, you are in for a treat. I talked to a couple of baseball people I respect who think Jennings could play right field on opening day for the Rays. I personally do not think that will happen but I am certainly not going to complain if Jennings is on the opening day team as I am anxious to see what he can do at the major league level.
