Hickey to be retained

The Heater is reporting the Rays will be bringing Jim Hickey back for the 2010 season. I have mixed feeling about this because Hickey would have to share some of the blame for the lack of improvement of Shields and Garza from last season but should also be credited for the in-season turn arounds by Price and Niemann. I guess there was a part of me holding out for Rick Peterson to come out of the consulting business but it does appear as if Hickey will be back for a 4th straight year.

Sorry buy I am a dodgers fan, Go Manny!I think this decision maybe in thier best intrest though.
